What Is Laser Hair Removal?
You’ve heard about laser hair removal, the non-invasive way to not have to shave, pluck or tweeze anymore. This treatment is incredibly popular because it allows clients to achieve hair-free, smooth skin within a few treatments. No more worrying about being ready for a day at the pool, or if you remembered to tweeze. But like all procedures, it’s normal to have concerns or questions. Let’s learn a little more about this life-enhancing procedure.
How Does Laser Hair Removal Work Exactly?
Laser treatments work by emitting lightwaves that emit heat onto the base of the hair follicles, which damages them and stops the hair-growing process.
Does Laser Hair Removal Hurt?
Our lasers are incredibly safe, and you’re treated by highly trained medical professionals. At Pure Vive Med Spa, our experienced, board-certified nurse practitioners, Lindsey Carter and Katie Walker, offer advanced laser hair removal using High Speed vacuum assist and integrated ChillTip™ contact cooling for a treatment that is effective, fast and comfortable.
How Long Does A Laser Hair Removal Treatment Last?
Do you get a lunch break from work? That’s all the time you’ll need. Depending on the area treated, each session can last as few as 10 minutes!
What Is The Downtime For Laser Hair Removal?
There’s no downtime for laser hair removal. You can leave our offices and return to work immediately.
How Many Sessions Do I Need?
The answer to this depends on your specific needs. Typically, you’ll need four sessions for most body parts. However, laser hair removal on your entire back, legs or chest may require more.
For answers to all your questions, including the specific number of sessions you’ll need, we suggest scheduling a free consultation with your medical provider. Lindsey and Katie are more than happy to walk you through the procedure and help you achieve smooth, hair-free skin to make shaving, tweezing, waxing and plucking a concern of the past!
